Just finished watching a film about tourettes syndrome. It was very motivating and inspiring.
The protagonist had to through alot of difficulties to achieve an almost impossible dream; a teacher.
Throughout the show, it showed his emotions. Anger, disappointment and frustration with his constant companion. But one thing he nvr does is give up. At the end of the film, he said that tourettes syndrome was his greatest teacher. It taught him nvr to let anything stop him.
Sometimes i wonder, why god give these diseases to such good people. And why I myself dont have such diseases. What makes them different from me? Why isit that despite their circumstances, they can still do a hell lot better than me?
Received an email for an old friend of mine from back in sec sch. She wanted to tell my abt a campaign supporting children with cancer. She asked me to join her for a shave. Hair for hope.Thats the name of the campaign. And i agreed immediately. Checked out their site, and got a great disappointment. The online registration for the shave was already closed unfortunately. So, i guess ill just do my part and donate to the organisation. You guys cna help too. Visit their site at http://www.ccf.org.sg/hfh/index.php
Asked a few friends regarding the shave and was kinda disappointed with their answers. All of them said no to it. I understand for the girls, but guys...cmon, hair will grow back wont it?
EDIT: good news, turns out there is a walk-in shave. maybe i'll do it afterall.
A few days left to mug. ARGH. May god give me the strength to stay focused.
